Details:
School break horse riding, day camp for fids. Each day your child will spend camp time on horseback, and the rest of the time learning about horse behavior (we explore equine language and behavior and how to interpret what the horse is thinking), horse care and grooming, anatomy of the horse, and colors and breeds of horses. Your child will be riding Western the first day and English the second day of camp. They will get to choose which style they prefer to ride for the rest of the week. We will do crafts, trail rides, and play games on horseback. Emphasis is placed on relationship with the horse and safety. Children should wear jeans or long pants and boots with heal (some loner boots available). Our instructors are safety conscious and well-trained in their discipline of riding. Please bring a snack and plenty of water for your child each day. It is also recommended that you use sunscreen. Contact Donica Draper by telephone at 520-401-6516. Email her for specifics upon registering donicaaz@comcast.net
